Award-winning Australian singer, songwriter and musician, Delta Goodrem has been inspiring the world with her music and accrued 5 # 1 albums, 9 #1 singles, 17 top-10 hits, 12 Australian ARIA Awards, a Silver Logie TV Award and 3 World Music Awards.

 

April 2022 saw Delta wrap her sold out Australian arena tour, “Bridge Over Troubled Dreams” – in support of her 5th # 1 album titled the same that included hit songs, “Keep Climbing”, “Solid Gold” and “Paralyzed”. 

 

Her first album, Innocent Eyes, topped the Australian, UK and Japanese charts and was one of the highest-selling debut albums in Australian history, featuring the # 1 singles “Innocent Eyes”, “Lost Without You”, “Not Me Not I”, “Predictable” and the unforgettable anthem “Born to Try”. The album spent a record-breaking 29 weeks at #1 and Delta became the first-ever artist to have five #1 singles on the Australian charts from a debut album and was awarded the Australian ARIA Albums Artist of the Decade in 2010 having sold more albums and singles than any other domestic or international artist over the decade.

 

Goodrem’s second album, “Mistaken Identity” was created while she was suffering from cancer. It became her second number-one album. In 2007, Goodrem released “Delta” her third number-one album, which saw another number-one single, “In This Life”.  Her fourth studio album, “Child of the Universe” produced the single “Sitting on Top of the World”.  In 2016, her fifth album, “Wings of the Wild” became her fourth number-one album with hit songs “Wings” and “Dear Life”.

 

As an accomplished songwriter, Delta has written and performed songs for Olivia Newton-John, Celine Dion, Tony Bennett, Michael Bolton, LeAnn Rimes and Westlife. Delta also toured with Michael Bolton across the US, joined good friend and renowned maestro tenor Andrea Bocelli on legs of Bocelli’s Asian, American, and Australian world tours, and toured with Ricky Martin as part of his 2015 Australian tour.

 

Goodrem boasts an impressive television resume, that started at the age of 7. At 16 she joined the cast of Neighbours. For 9 years she was the longest serving coach on the global hit franchise The Voice Australia and a coach on The Voice Kids Australia. In 2018, Delta starred in the lead role of her mentor, idol, and good friend, Olivia Newton-John in the superstar’s biopic, Hopelessly Devoted to You. She is the founder and creative director of her production company ATLED Productions.

 

In 2022 was named the first ever Australian ambassador for global cosmetic company, Revlon.

 

In 2020 the Delta Goodrem Foundation launched which strives to spread kindness, hope, and support for those facing illness, hardship, and inequality.  In addition, Delta supports a number of charities and Foundations around the world including Starlight Children’s Foundation, Make-A-Wish, Sony Foundation and Global Citizen.

 

In 2022, Goodrem was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for “significant service to the not-for-profit sector, and to the performing arts”.
